The students enjoyed a fun hands-on science activity this past week! They worked in pairs to create an electric circuit. Once the circuit was complete, they got their buzzers to sound. The students had a really good time and enjoyed this activity. I thought I’d share the pictures with you!

Safety Patrol will be selling $10 tickets to the May 19th (7:05pm) Padres game vs. the LA Angels.

Another big congratulations to Jared Douglas! He earned the Most Improved Award. He has really worked hard to focus in class, work independently, raise his hand to speak, and put forth his very best effort on all his tests and classwork. Super job, Jared!
We enjoyed our last day before Spring Break with Aloha Day and our Class Compliment Party. We popped fresh organic popcorn in class. It was a great day!

Room 302 had a blast celebrating Dr. Suess’s birthday with Read Across America Day! We read with our stuffed animals, friends, and some of us even got to read with our parents! A special thank you to Mrs. Seo, Mrs. Payne, Mrs. Banthaw, Ms. Mendez, Ms. Jensen, Mrs. Garcia, Ms. Nanetti, and Mr. Salvador for participating in this event. The students also performed a Reader’s Theater for some of the other third grade classes. Enjoy the slideshow!
